NBCUniversal to be split from Comcast in latest media shakeup

Reuters beat rivals by seven seconds on the Red Alert news that Comcast plans to separate its media and technology businesses. Following the news, Comcast shares rose nearly 8%, while rival stocks fell by as much as 6.5% amid fears of increased competition.
