Tesla quarterly deliveries set record; European recovery raises hopes of annual growth

Reuters scored a clean sweep on Tesla’s record second-quarter deliveries, which crushed Wall Street estimates, as well as its production figures. Tesla shares were up slightly premarket but fell about 7% by midday as investors took profits after an earlier 12% rally, with analysts saying the optimism was already priced in.
