OpenAI files for US IPO after Anthropic as AI giants head to public markets

Reuters was ahead of rivals on the news that OpenAI had confidentially filed for a U.S. initial public offering, joining rival Anthropic in a push toward a stock market listing to tap strong investor demand for AI shares.
